Ashling Hotel celebrates success at Irish Hotel Awards
Staff at Dublin’s Ashling Hotel are celebrating another great year as they emerged victorious at the recent Irish Hotel Awards.
The hotel received national award recognition for both individual team members and the hotel’s overall social media platform taking home the top prizes this year
Receiving four awards at this year’s ceremony, it has been another fantastic year for the Dublin hotel based in Dublin 8, near Heuston Station and the Phoenix Park and numerous other landmarks in the capital.
Staff and teams at the hotel received 10 nominations across a host of categories at the annual awards ceremony, which recognises and rewards excellence in hospitality and services across Ireland.
The Irish Hotel Awards are the only awards programme that takes an all-Ireland approach to working with the hospitality industry which makes the multiple wins an even greater accomplishment.
Of the 10 nominations the hotel received, they emerged winners across four categories:
- Ciara Barry – National Marketing Manager of the Year 2024
- Shannon Marry – National Guest Relations Manager of the Year 2024
- Deanna Frak – National Human Resources Manager of the Year 2024
- Ashling Hotel – Social Media Marketing Winner Leinster 2024
Ronan Walsh, managing director, Ashling Hotel, said: “It really is quite humbling when you hear one of your colleagues being announced as a national winner. It generates great pride and belief that we are a leading light in the hospitality industry and of course, it is a huge recognition for the individual managers involved. Sincere thanks to the team in the Ashling and to all our guests & patrons who make all this possible.’
The Ashling Hotel strives to be innovative and forward thinking in its approach to hospitality.
This year, the hotel was the first hotel in the city to offer a full sensory bedroom for families with a loved one with a neurodiverse condition or autism.
The full refurbishment of its restaurant, bar and reception area is now complete and is proving very popular.
The new Chesterfield Brasserie is now open, a triumph in itself & a commitment from the Ashling Hotel when the city has seen a plethora of restaurant closures.
The hotel currently has a number of offers and packages suitable for those seeking city centre accommodation and breaks, click here for more information.
