Dungarvan Brewing Company, located in Co Waterford, has been acquired for an undisclosed sum after a long standing 13-year run. The family microbrewery, established in 2010 by head brewer Cormac O’Dwyer, his wife Jen Uí Dhuibhir, along with sister Claire Dalton and her husband Tom Dalton, has seen remarkable growth.
The most recent financial reports for Dungarvan Brewing Company Ltd indicate a loss of €56,929 for the fiscal year ending December 2022, resulting in accumulated losses of €117,289 by year-end.
Ms. Dalton, the company’s sales and marketing director, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news of this significant milestone.

“Tom Dauber, an incredibly talented and passionate individual, will be taking the helm as the new owner and steward of our beloved brewery. We are incredibly fortunate to have found a buyer who is keen to continue the legacy of the brewery, and Tom has exciting plans to take the business into its next phase, bringing with it growth and development of the brand and beers.”
